Pastor Kwesi Oginga grew up in Guyana, South America feeling the gentle call of God on his life. While yet very young his mom took him to the church where he served as an altar boy. He became a teacher and God allowed him several years in the theater as a writer, actor and director. Later God permitted him to serve as Communications Adviser to the Prime Minister of the country of his birth before leading him to the United States where he spent a short season on the airwaves as a radio announcer. Along the way God visited his life with a plethora of humbling experiences that molded and shaped him for service to the true King, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Pastor Kwesi’s favor from God (for twenty eight years), his wife, Desiree, came to him after he sought God through fasting and prayer. Their special blessings are their son Norris, their two daughters Effua and Tatu and their four grandsons, Keanon, Jordan, Melik and Kyan.
Pastor Kwesi and Desiree began pastoring at New Life Ministries in June 2005. Their pledge is to win souls for the Kingdom of Heaven through Faith, Wisdom and the Wonders of the Word, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
